On July 1, 2019, the delegation of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Hubei Province visited St. Petersburg State Agrarian University.
Chinese colleagues are very interested in creating and developing joint research projects in the field of horticulture, plant protection. In addition, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences is interested in accepting teachers from the St. Petersburg Agrarian University as lecturers in relevant disciplines. Academic exchange involves visits of Chinese scientists and professors of our university.

The Academy of Agricultural Sciences of China is the Chinese leading national research institution in the field of agricultural sciences and technology. It was founded in 1957. The headquarters is in Beijing. It includes 42 institutes, has its own publishing house. It has over 5 thousand employees. 68 scientific and technical journals are published.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on concluding an international agreement on cooperation and possible ways and promising areas of scientific cooperation between universities were outlined.
